On the afternoon of October 12,Beijing Polytechnic held the Autumn opening ceremony for students of year 2022 in Tunisian Branch of Overseas Technical Skill Training Base online.Chen Jiangfeng,Vice President of Beijing Polytechnic,Professor Mokaddem Yassin of University Liberty of Tunisia,staff of the International Office, and all freshmenas well as teacher representatives attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Ma Jun from the International Office.

Chen Jiangfeng extended a warm welcome to the new students.He said Beijing Polytechnic is a national leading vocational college with a history of more than 60 years. In recent years, the successful development of the China-Tunisia cooperation has contributed to the vocational education of the two countries and promoted the friendly exchanges between the two countries.He also gave some suggestions to the new students: First, have the world in mind and make our own contributions to building a community with a shared future for mankind.Second, take this opportunity to learn Chinese language and Chinese culture.Third,play a role as a bridge to promote the communication between China and Tunasia.

Student representative Awring Quentin of Automobile Maintenance and Repair major, made a speech. He said that he was very happy to participate in the cooperation project between China and Tunisia.It was a great opportunity to improve himself.He hoped that the pandemic will end soon,so that he could come to Beijing Polytechnic to study on the beautiful campus. Professor Yassin expressed his gratitude on behalf of University Liberty of Tunisia for having the opportunity to take part in the program and wished a long pleasant cooperation in the future. Chinese teacher representative Wang Maomei of Automotive Engineering School also deliverd a speech.

In late 2021, in cooperation with University Liberty of Tunisia, BP launched a cooperation program to establich the Tunasian Branch of Overseas Technical Skills Training Base. Up to now, more than 200 Tunasian students are enrolled and 7 majors are available. All the students have given good feedback on this program.
