The year of 2022 is coming to an end, and the bell of the New Year is going to ring. At this happy moment of ringing out the old year and ringing in the new,we would like toextend New Year wishes to you all on behalf of the Beijing Polytechnic’s leadership team! We’d like to express our sincere thanks to the retirees,leaders at all levels, friends from all walks of life and alumni who contributed to the construction and development of ourschool!

The year of 2022 is a milestone in the history of the Communist Party of China and our country, which the 20th CPC National Congress was held and China impressed the world by hosting Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This year is also an important year to fully implement the "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan" plan. As for us, the year 2022 is a key year for our school to accomplish the“Construction Plan of High-Level Vocational Colleges and Disciplines with Chinese Characteristics”. We all worked hard and moved forward, contributing to building our school into a“world famous, national first-class and leading”demonstration higher vocational college.

This year, we strove to promote the Party-building work.Studying and implementation of the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congresswas took as our primary political task. In 2022, our school was successfully approved as the“Innovation and Development Center for Ideological and Political Work”by the Ministry of Education.It has also been successfully approved as the construction unit of "National Benchmark College for Party Construction" and "National Model Branch for Party Construction",making major breakthrough in the Party-building and ideological and political work.

This year, we promoted the“Construction Plan of High-Level Vocational Colleges and Disciplines with Chinese Characteristics”at high standards.We successfully passed the medium-term online inspection organized by Beijing Municipal Education Commission and our work was rated as“excellent”level in the inspection co-organized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. We also won the first-place performance of theevaluation“Action Planfor Quality Improvement". What’s more, we have successfully applied for upgrading our school to the“vocationalundergraduate”,which was approved and supported by Beijing Municipal Government.

This year, we conscientiously studied and implemented the Vocational EducationLaw. As representative of vocational college,Beijing Polytechnic participated in the press conference of the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Vocational Education Conference was successfully held in our school.We strengthened the school industry partnerships and successfully built the national training basefor teachers with both theoretical and practical skills.Besides,Tunasian Branch of Overseas Technical Skills Training Baseis built and the number of international students reached a record high.On campus we can see the beautiful lake, hear the school song“Pursue your dream with craftsmanship”and visit the“Craftsmanship Experience House”.

This year, we promoted talent training.Our teachers participated in the National Vocational College Skills Competition and students took part in the national vocational college skills competitions,achieving good results in those competitions.We also reached high employment rate of students. We also contributed our efforts to serving the country by completing the guarantee work for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Looking back at the past year, we sweated and we toiled as we pressed ahead with concrete efforts for achievements. Here, we’d like to express our sincere thanks to all the students, faculty, alumni and friends from all walks of life again, who contributed to the construction and development of our school. Looking to the future, we will continue to strive, march ahead with courage, and create brighter glory!
